XV250 - VIRAGO

Cool as Chromed Steel, Cheap as
Chips.
What does a Virago have over many of the other much larger
cruisers on the road?
It’sa genuine legend in cruiser folklore, because Virago has turned
more riders on to thewonderful world of cruising than almost
anything else.
And why wouldn’t it, with its light, easy handling, super reliable
air-cooled, V-twin engine pumping out plenty of roll-on torque, and
ample top-end thrust for any highway speed limit.
Classic, timeless styling abounds, in the form of dual chrome
exhaust pipes, a stylishly
sculpted teardrop tank and hot wire spoked wheels.
- Air-cooled,
249cc, 60° V-twin engine with a long, 66mm stroke produces plenty
of bottom-end torque and smooth roll-on power.
- Widely geared 5-
speed transmission makes the most of 250’s powerband.
- 282mm single
front disc brake and a rear drum brake provide plenty of stopping
power.
- Automatic cam
chain tensioner virtually eliminates maintenance and helps extend
engine life.
- Beautiful dual
chrome exhaust pipes let the engine breathe and put out that
classic V-twin rumble.
